This research is about the different indigenous medicinal plants and the different practices on how to prepare them. This study was conducted in Banayoyo, Ilocos Sur wherein indigenous and old folks where interviewed on the different plants they used as an alternative to commercial medicines. The plants are presented on their taxonomic classifications for their identification, plant type, plant parts than can be used, diseases or ailments cured, mode of preparation and application.
